There are pizzas. There are Lorenzo pizzas. And then there’s this absolute curveball from Dave’s summer playbook…
Introducing The Blue Moon Peach.
Mozzarella.
Gorgonzola.
Fresh peach.
Walnuts.
Truffle honey.
Basically everything your nan told you should never go on a pizza, somehow ending up together and producing magic.
Now, before the comments section turns into a Manchester derby, yes… it’s called Blue Moon Peach. We are a Manchester restaurant after all. Whether you’re sky blue, red, or couldn’t care less about football, this one deserves a place in the starting eleven.
Sweet peaches.
Punchy gorgonzola.
Crunchy walnuts.
A drizzle of truffle honey that ties it all together like a last-minute winner in stoppage time.
Dave wasn’t convinced when Mat suggested fruit on a pizza. He muttered something about “keeping peaches in fruit bowls where God intended.” Five minutes later he was hovering over the oven refusing to share a slice and claiming it was his idea all along.
It’s bold.
It’s different.
It’s controversial.
A bit like wearing a City shirt in Stretford.
Some will love it. Some will question it. Dave’s already had three and is now wandering around Denton humming Blue Moon whilst telling strangers he’s Pep Guardiola’s culinary advisor.
