Where have we been!? Finally pulling myself together to sort my insta accounts with all our business fun! After the closure of our lovely coffee shop in January we have turned the space into more retail! Selling much more jewellery, apparel, dry robes, beach goods and even paddleboards! We have jumped our account over to so if you miss us and want to see what we are up to we would love if you would follow our new account! See ya there!

That's a wrap! Bulas final day... as always a huge thankyou to the wonderful customers, old and new. So many of you have become family over the years and we will miss our over coffee chats dearly. To Jojo- thanks feeing a stable Rock in all these tough times. Always a happy familiar face to so many and putting up with my scatty ways! Thankfully for me Jojo will be joining us on ventures new! A special thankyou to who started the bula journey with me, to help out for the first summer! 4 years later she finally got away and started her next career out of the hospitality world. My baby sister, friend and right hand man for all those years you were the soul of the coffee shop for all those years 💕 . To Murray, my other half who has encouraged me to follow my dreams every time! He has built and changed the cafe to follow my demands with out (too much) complaint and most importantly he's an incredible team mate and Dad to our little ones. Finally my family and friends for their continual support and especially my Mum who has been incredible in the making successful, for being my biggest fan and confidence booster! She will also be leaving Mahalo in the new year to help with my children whilst I jump back into the working world (it truly takes a village!).
Exciting things for 2024! Watch this space to find out what's next in the next few months!

Our dearest customers, friends and Bula family, sadly we will be permanently closing the coffee shop doors after the new year. A whole lot of heart and soul has been put in to our little coffee hub over the last 4 years but life has changed too. With pandemics, inflation and supplier issues effecting so many in this industry. Most importantly Kim has had two babies and boy do they effect your life! This change in priorities and the challenges hitting the hospitality world has meant that the small coffee shop is unfortunately unviable at this time. I can't thank the current and past staff, customers and true friends enough for supporting us in the ups and downs, for the kind words, and most importantly for the fun times it's all going to be hugely missed!

Happily our homewares shop has remained successful in these strange times and we will continuing to sell our lovely homewares and interior gifts in the shop, with some new ideas in the pipeline to fill the bula hole! Please pop in a say hi to Kim, Jojo and the ladies for a browse or a friendly chat :)
