This was my manager at the Upper C**k, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person. When I first offered her the job, she was completely honest with me about being dismissed from her previous job. She told me the whole story, and I chose to believe in her. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.
She managed the pub as if it were her own. She worked tirelessly, was loyal, honest, and dedicated, and always went above and beyond. I will always be grateful for everything she did for me. She wasn’t just my manager—she became a friend and someone I trusted completely.
One thing she always said to me was that she just wanted to clear her name. She wanted people to know the truth, and she deserved the chance to do that.
