Just a short message regarding the stories currently circulating.

We are a family-run business, and what happened on Monday was completely beyond our control. We want to reassure all of our customers that we are, and always will be, a safe, welcoming, family-friendly pub and restaurant.

We are incredibly proud of the wonderful customers and community who support us, and we would never tolerate the type of behaviour currently being discussed. The events on Monday were isolated circumstances entirely outside of our control. We have been trading for eight months, and this is the first incident of its kind since opening. The individuals involved were not known to us and have no association whatsoever with The Thistle Inn.

We sincerely hope this situation does not affect your confidence in us or our business. We greatly appreciate your continued support and look forward to welcoming you as always.

Just a wee message to let everyone know that on Mondays and Tuesdays, please use the bar door entrance only.

As only the bar is open on these days, the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday The bar will be open from 12pm until 10pm.
