We have the latest Quill, by the fantastic students at Wadham School!

Come on down and grab a copy and enjoy a hot drink and one of our many cakes on offer, the new banana cake with caramel icing is delicious!

We also have some new syrups for you to try.

The colder days are starting to creep in so that means you’ll start to see some winter warmers appearing on our specials board soon!

Fresh soups and stews are being planned. Either have the soups with one of our rolls or have it with half a toasted sandwich.

The wonderful people Flagship Crewkerne and the amazing kids at Maiden Beech Primary Academy are displaying their flags in our cafe until the end of October!

Flagship Crewkerne officially launches this Friday at the George hotel.

The idea behind Flagship is a community Arts and Heritage festival transforming the high street into a curated gallery of artist and community made flags.

From Saturday we will have maps letting you know where to find these amazing flags

What a glorious start to the week!
And we’re already looking forward to Friday night, as it’s finally our Texas BBQ night!

The menu for this Friday is below

Slow cooked beef brisket
In house marinaded pork ribs
Texas toast, thick sliced bread smothered in garlic butter
Corn bread
Mac and cheese
Pickles
Slaw
Corn ribs

£25 per person, this is served as a sharers platter for 2.

We also have an alternative platter for the non meat eaters

Harissa spiced cauliflower steak
Corn succotash, a hearty dish of corn, okra, peppers and spices
Corn ribs
Texas toast
Pickles
Slaw

£20 per person, again served as a sharing platter.

Still a few spaces available. Open from 6pm until 8pm, drop us a message and book a table!

Good afternoon!
We’re talking about Sundays and our next pop up evening today!

We’re going to do our Sundays like our pop up nights.
Selective dates so we can provide the best service we can.

So our next dates will be -
Sunday 8th November 10am-2pm

Friday 27th November- Christmas light switch on, expect festive food and drink

Sunday 20th December 10am - 2pm,
We will then be open Monday 21st until Christmas Eve!

Don’t forget we have our Texas BBQ night coming up this month, Friday 25th.
Menu will be up soon, but expect brisket, ribs and plenty of sides for the table to dig into!

A juicy 4oz steak, topped with fried onions, sitting on a bed of dressed peppery rocket leaves. With a dipping pot of peppercorn sauce and a portion of fries.
