I am absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud to announce that I have been shortlisted as a finalist in TWO categories at the BII National Innovation in Training Awards (NITAs) 2026! 🎉🥂

After nearly 30 years in hospitality, this really does mean the world to me. ❤️

For me, running a pub has never just been about serving food and drinks. It’s about people, giving them opportunities, helping them grow in confidence, supporting them through difficult times and watching them achieve things they never thought possible.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing people, seeing young team members develop their skills, complete apprenticeships, build careers and go on to achieve wonderful things.

I couldn’t be prouder of them all. ❤️

The Wellbeing Award is particularly special because I have always believed that looking after your team is just as important as looking after your customers.

A huge thank you to my incredible team at the Coach & Horses, past and present. You have all played a part in this journey, and I certainly wouldn’t be here without you.

And thank you to the BII for recognising the work we do.

Whatever happens at the awards ceremony in London on 19th November, to be recognised in both categories is already a huge honour.

Here’s to hospitality, investing in people and making a difference! ❤️🥂
