Some people really do become part of the furniture around here 🤍

From celebrating one of our very first weddings with Max & Daisy, to now having them here every week with DOUGH HOUSE and our new favourite Friday tradition… it’s safe to say these two are a very special part of The White Lion.

And now, we are absolutely delighted to share that they have welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Olivia, into the world

The BIGGEST congratulations and so, so much love to Max & Daisy from all of us here at The White Lion. We couldn’t be happier for you both. You have your very own little doughball 🥹

They’ll be taking a little time to enjoy their gorgeous newborn bubble, but will be back with us soon. In the meantime, our full menu will be running as usual for all of your Friday socials.

Welcome to the world, Olivia. We already can’t wait to meet you 🤍

Bored of the same pub menu? Same burger. Same fish and chips. Same "chef's special" that's been on since 2019 and swapped around every pub in the area? 😅

We were too. So we changed everything.

Fire & Smoke at The White Lion is something different. Low-and-slow cooking, South African braai flavours, dishes you genuinely haven't seen on a Cheshire pub menu before. Think 12-hour smoked brisket, Pulled Pork Bunny Chow, smoked Boerewors, fire-glazed ribs and wings.

Love pub food? Love smokehouse? Love a bit of fire and smoke on your plate? You're going to love what we're doing in Hankelow. Just 7 minutes from Nantwich

The same great pub. A completely different kitchen. 🔥

🇰🇷 Korean Gochujang: sweet, spicy and seriously addictive

Have it as a starter, grab it as a snack, or share it with the table (if you can bear to 😉).

Autumn appetite: officially back 🍂

Big flavours, proper comfort food and something cold at the bar to go with it.

As the evenings start drawing in, there are definitely worse places to settle in for dinner.
