Don't forget that our next monthly free meeting is this coming Friday at 7pm, in Clover’s cafe, Crediton.

We have a very special guest this month. Dr Jo Esra, a maritime historian who lectured at the University of Exeter, is taking on your previously requested topic of folklore surrounding Smuggling and Piracy in the South West.

This is a free talk, and the full cafe menu will be available, so why not have a bite to eat, a drink or a cake while you enjoy Jo's talk?

☘️Join us on Friday the 25th to learn all about smuggling & piracy!

Our next FOLKLORE FRIDAY social meeting will be next Friday evening, 25th September, at 7pm in Clover’s cafe as usual.

This month, we are delighted to welcome a special guest visiting speaker, who will be talking about the topic you chose last month. Maritime Historian Dr Jo Esra will discuss the traditions, customs and stories surrounding Smuggling and Piracy around the Devon and Cornwall coasts.

This is a FREE event, but donations are welcome to support our charitable work. Seats are limited, so please book a place in advance via bit.ly/flaevents or get in touch and let us know you want to come.

☘️We are open until 4pm today…..why not come along for a full English breakfast (served all day) and let us do the cooking & washing up!
