We’re committed to sharing our love of Speciality Coffee by roasting daily on our premises, so that it can be sold to you as it should be; fresh and full of flavour. From our shop in Crediton, we sell everything you will need to make the perfect cup of Speciality Coffee and everything that complements the experience, from porcelain cups to local artisan confectionery. Since only 2% of mainstream coffee meets the standards of our shop, it’s likely that you will be trying Speciality Coffee for the very first time. We only deal with ethically sourced speciality and cup of excellence coffee's from all over the world, many of our coffee's are also organic certified. Our store is in the heart of Crediton on the market square, we stock fudge, cookies and chocolate from local producers and we are suppliers of La Cafetiere and Bialetti and we are also the only south west distributors of Fracino Coffee Machines. If your in town pop in for a look round and a coffee and you might even see are roaster running! What is Speciality Coffee? Speciality Coffee has to be handled with care, roasted with precision and brewed with love and attention. The result is an unrivaled coffee experience. Speciality Coffees are grown in ideal climates. They are distinctive because of their full-flavour tastes, with little or no defects. The wide variety of unique coffees are a combination of geographic characteristics and the composition of the soils in which they are grown. Speciality Coffee is often called Gourmet or Premium coffee. The Speciality Coffee Association of America (SCAA), scores coffee along a 100-point scale; coffee that scores over 80 points is graded as Speciality. .food.festival are looking for student volunteers to work in the demo marquee, carrying plates of tasters around the audience, carrying anything the chefs need, and doing the washing up.
