The first Listening Lounge of 2025 will be touched by the hand of a true guitar icon. Very happy to announce that the Album for February 2025 will be Eric Clapton - Unplugged. Released in 1992 this was a memorable set running through his work from Cream, Derek and the Dominos and his vast solo back catalogue.

Please come and join us to listen to a ‘local lad’ performing his MTV unplugged set with like minded music lovers.

Great Coffee, Bacon Rolls and the Saturday papers are the supporting act.

See you on the February 1st 2025 - 9am to 10-30am

Good afternoon everyone
The Autumn 🍂 brings the next round of Listening Lounge Goodness. For the Month of November we have a special guest at the Lounge. None other than the Architect of our happy band of music enthusiasts Will Shepherd. Will has selected Sheryl Crow’s 1993 album Tuesday Night Music Club.

Please come along and enjoy a fantastic album with fellow music lovers. If you can, why not invite someone along to enjoy the music, enjoy good coffee and a bacon roll along with the Saturday papers.

Looking forward to seeing you all (and possibly some new faces) on the 2nd November.

🎙️THE LISTENING LOUNGE 🎙️

We’re very excited to welcome the The Listening Lounge to the Rec in the morning of the carnival. On Saturday 5th August between 9-10.30am you can pop along to hear a classic album whilst enjoying a bacon or sausage butty!! We hope this will keep our stall holders calm & well-fed during their morning set up! All are welcome!

Thank you to the Listening Lounge for going on tour to the rec this week!!

If you are helping to set up The Ewhurst Carnival on Saturday morning - or need a little encouragement to do so - The Listening Lounge will be there between 9 and 10:30 am to keep you fed and entertained. Come on down to the Ewhurst Rec for bacon butties and great coffee to the tune of the 'greatest hits' of the Listening lounge over the past year. We can't wait to be there!

We run almost every first Saturday of the month between 9 and 10:30 serving up great coffee, tea, bacon butties, pastries and great laughs!
