Good evening all, the bikebus won't be open Saturday 10th October, i need to give myself a bit more recovery time after yesterday's crash. I will given an update about opening Sunday tomorrow evening.

Today was the points race heat, unfortunately 6 laps in there was a crash infront of me and I had no where to go but over the top, hitting the deck with a bang. Thankfully bike n wheels were ok, my wrist instantly swelled up with a big bruise but no break, Graeme and Pete were there quickly with a cold can of coke on my wrist and ice on my knee. There was a 15min delay while the got the other guys stretchered off the track. I managed to get back in when they restarted the heat but finished 11th when I needed to finish 10th to get into the final. A huge thank you to Graeme and Pete for their support.
So once I heal up its all about next year's worlds in Newport.

A huge congratulations to Kylie and Ruth on their medal winning rides yesterday.. it was great to be their and see them ...

Unfortunately I didn't qualify for the final, the 3.75km heat was done in 4min 2 seconds, average of 50kph. Just to fast for me. The second heat was covered 45 seconds slower, which would have suited me better so more training for next year.

Hi everyone, i hope your week is going well, just a quick note to let you know the bikebus will be closed on Saturday because some very nice customers are taking me to Twickenham to see England ladies play against new zealand ladies....come on you all blacks!!

Good evening everyone, I'm sorry to say I will not be opening the bikebus this weekend. I have a major breakdown with a bit of equipment at work that the OEM can't rectify so I will be at the factory all weekend with them trying to get the equipment running for Monday. Please spread the word to anyone who isn't on Facebook and please accept my apologies. I plan to be open the 19th and 20th as usual. Safe cycling everyone.
