I just wanted to wish the brand new owners Tom & Sadie of Squirrels Cafe all the love and luck in the world as you begin this new chapter 🐿️☕️ I truly hope the space brings you as much joy, laughter, and connection as it brought me.

It’s bittersweet to see Love A Latte no longer there. That little cafe was such a huge part of my heart — filled with memories of early mornings, friendly faces, laughter, and countless cups of coffee shared with the most wonderful customers. I’ll never forget the community that grew within those walls or the support and love you all showed me from day one. 💛

Though it’s hard to say goodbye to something so special, I’m genuinely excited to see what Squirrels brings to the community. I wish you every success and happiness — may you make beautiful memories in that space, just as I did.

Thank you again to everyone who ever walked through Love A Latte’s doors — you made it so much more than just a café. You made it home and I look forward to seeing you all in there very soon ❤️☕️🍰

Today was our last day at Love A Latte… and what an emotional one it’s been. 💔

We honestly don’t have enough words to express how thankful we are. The kind messages, beautiful cards, and thoughtful gifts have truly touched our hearts. Every single one meant so much.

To all of our amazing customers over the years—thank you. And to our wonderful regulars, the ones who showed up rain or shine, who became friends and part of our little coffee shop family… you kept us going for 6 unforgettable years.

Love A Latte has been such a huge part of our lives, and it’s all because of you. We’ve shared laughter, chats, even a few tears—and we’ll carry those memories with us always.

💕A Heartfelt Goodbye from Love a Latte 💕

It’s with a very heavy heart that we share some news that hasn’t been easy to put into words. After many wonderful years serving the amazing community of Mount Nod and beyond, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close the doors of Love a Latte, this Saturday.

Over the past few years, we’ve poured our hearts into creating a warm, welcoming space for our community — a place for connection, comfort, and, of course, great coffee. But despite our best efforts, the ongoing rise in costs and relentless price inflation have made it impossible for us to continue operating sustainably.

We’ve done everything we could to ride through the storm — tightening costs, working longer hours, holding onto hope — because we believed so deeply in what Love A Latte meant to this community. But the reality has caught up with us, and it’s no longer doable.

This has not been a decision made lightly. Love a Latte has been more than just a café, it’s been a place where friendships have formed, stories have been shared, and countless cups of coffee have been enjoyed together. The memories made within these walls will stay with us forever.

To each and every one of you who has supported us over the years, whether you popped in for your morning coffee, stayed for a chat, or simply shared a smile, we cannot thank you enough. Your kindness and loyalty have meant the world.

While this chapter is coming to a close, the love and community spirit that surrounded Love a Latte will always live on.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being part of our journey.

A buffet done today for the lovely Mal, Aman & Joga from the onestop for all the locals and to Wish Mal a happy retirement ❤️ it was a lovely afternoon and just goes to show what an important part of the community they are. Thank you everyone who popped in it was a fab turn out!

There was quite a bit left over but Aman took it to feed the homeless which is amazing so nothing went to waste! ❤️❤️❤️
