A little behind the scenes of what we’ve been working on… 👀

Three months ago, we started planning a complete redesign of our upstairs restaurant space. Two weeks ago, work finally began, and we’re excited to take you along on the journey.

The aim has always been simple: to create a space that can be used by more people, in more ways, and become a real hub for the community.

One of the biggest changes is a new partition wall, allowing the space to be divided into a private function room while still keeping the flexibility to open it back up for larger events with sliding doors.

We’ve carefully chosen colours and finishes that will help cleanly showcase artwork, and we’re hoping to exhibit pieces from local artists in the future. We’ve also added screens and surround speakers to enhance private events, meetings and celebrations.

The furniture has been selected with flexibility in mind too. Stackable seating allows the room to be transformed for workshops, yoga classes, networking events and more, while comfortable ergonomic chairs create a better dining experience for our guests.

We’ve also installed ripple glass and soundproofing to create more private meeting areas, and matte black display screens that can be customised to showcase artwork, photography, presentations or personalised content during private functions.

We’re excited to share the progress with you and can’t wait to welcome you into The Gallery this Friday. Book your table now!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our First Look afternoon yesterday! 💛

After a couple of weeks of closure, we’ve transformed the space at The Gallery—upstairs at Millsy’s—adding a partition wall, sliding door, and independent sound and media zones to create both vibrant and intimate spaces.

We’ll officially open for bookings this Friday, featuring a new small plates and grill menu alongside all your Millsy’s favourites. We can’t wait to welcome you in—book your table now!

At its heart, The Gallery is about community. We’ve created a flexible venue designed to bring people together. Whether it’s film nights, yoga sessions, workshops, networking events, live music, art exhibitions, book clubs, celebrations, or something completely different, we’d love to help make it happen.
