The Potting Shed Cafe Award winning family run café, serving homemade fayre & artisan coffee amid beautiful surroundings. Open 10-4pm Tuesday to Saturday, and 10-3pm Sunday.

(Open Bank Holiday Mondays 10-4pm). Kitchen closes 1 hour earlier. The Potting Shed Café is a family run business, nestled in the middle of the lush Russell’s Garden Centre in Baginton, Coventry. The garden centre covers over 6 acres along the river Sowe and includes a beautiful Secret Quarry Garden, Spooky Hedge Maze and Wildflower Meadow, along with a community Miniature Railway () and a

number of specialist award winning nurseries, and independent businesses. The grounds are a massive draw for dog walkers and families wanting to explore the site and the café provides an excellent rest stop, with family board games to while away the time, and doggy treats. The vibe of the café is rustic and homely, with a combination of seating inside within the conservatory, covered outdoor seating, and traditional outdoor seating under garden parasols. We provide a full menu of breakfasts, lunch, homemade bakes, with excellent artisan coffee, loose leaf teas, real fruit smoothies and much more besides. We recently won 'Independant Garden Centre Caterer of the Year 2022' and TripAdvisor 'Travellers Choice 2022', amongst others. We hope to see you soon

☀️🚂 May Bank Holiday at Bridge View Light Railway 🚂☀️

The weather is looking great for the May Bank Holiday weekend, so why not come along and visit Bridge View Light Railway!

We will be open from 11am – 3pm on:
📅 Saturday 23rd May
📅 Monday 25th May

🎟️ Tickets are just £1.50 per person, per ride
👶 Under 2’s ride FREE

🦖 You may even spot a few dinosaurs lurking around the railway for you to count!

Why not come over and support your Miniature Community Railway. There’s plenty of picnic space available, so bring along a picnic blanket, sun cream and a hat and have some family time ☀️🧺

Be sure to visit our shop, located in the main Sowe Springs Station, which boasts an extensive range of gifts suitable for all ages and budgets.

Our Pre-Loved Cabin will also be open, offering a selection of china, glass, books and craft items — you never know what treasures you might find! All donations go towards helping to run the railway.
