Tomorrow at 9:30am, we finally open the doors to Luca’s 🥹

We were going to wait until tomorrow for a nice photo, when we weren’t wearing the clothes we’ve been cleaning in all day… But this is the reality of the last eight weeks bringing Luca’s to life.

Early mornings, late nights, working every day. Juggling Kitchen 126 and a four year old. Complications, setbacks, delays, hiring and training our new team… & spending an awful lot more than we intended 😅

There have been tears, a lot of laughter and moments that have properly tested our ability to work together as a couple. The ceiling, for one. IYKYK 🤣

But then there’s been you lot.

Since we launched this page just over five weeks ago, we’ve had half a million views and almost 5,000 followers before even opening our doors. We honestly can’t thank you enough. The local Earlsdon community, our community, friends, family and everyone cheering us on online… You’ve made us feel supported before we’ve even served our first coffee. Even seeing you stop and peek through the windows on the cameras has made me emotional 🥹

When I worked in hospitality years ago, I knew I wanted a place like this one day. For a long time, it felt like a dream too big to say out loud. Now we’re opening our third site, and it has our little boy’s name above the door. That’s a feeling I’ll never quite find the words for.

To our amazing team and everyone who has rolled up their sleeves, checked in or helped without even being asked; thank you. We couldn’t have got here without you. An extra special mention of Marc who is always there doing whatever it take’s to make this a reality with me.

Oh and Mikey… we’re pretty sure he will still be painting the bathroom when we open but don’t mind him 🤣

We’re exhausted, emotional, a little nervous and so incredibly excited to welcome you in.

We hope you love Luca’s as much as we do.
