After much thought, we’ve made the difficult decision that we won’t be opening the doors again here at Sapori Gateshead.

This wasn’t an easy choice. What started as a dream of sharing our Italian food became so much more because of you - our guests, neighbours, friends and family.

Thank you for every visit, every kind word, every celebration, and every plate shared at our tables. We are endlessly grateful for the support you’ve shown us over the last year and a half. Thank you all for all of the glowing reviews!

We have had no choice but to close as a result of numerous issues including the economy, road closures and increasing costs to operate.
