Since we opened the doors to our beloved Tea Garden a few years ago, we have been hit by a tidal wave of issues. From battering storms to blistering heat weaves, a worldwide pandemic which has since lead to huge staffing issues, soaring food and energy costs plus the constant daily battle of asking the council to cut the grass, provide more bins, ongoing litter picking and anti social behavior (from a small minority)….the list just goes on!!

2022 has seen a lot of change for our little business and we recognise that you, our lovely customers have been supporting us the whole way! Thank you so much!! And although we haven't been open in our usual ‘cafe’ guise we have been hosting a record number of private parties and afternoon tea events which really got us thinking about how we make use of this amazing venue going forwards and how it fits in the bigger Dotty picture!

We are so excited to finally share with you that we have joined forces with the lovely Claire from the ‘Glitter Girls Parties’ and together we will be offering the most magical bespoke birthday parties for boys and girls as well as baby showers, afternoon tea gatherings and creative workshops!!

Together we have over 20 years experience in bringing your party dreams to life and we have come up with some fabulous packages for you to choose from so you can relax and let us take care of everything from balloons to birthday cakes, decadent afternoon teas to pizza in the park and everything in between. Our exclusive hire events will be available everyday, as well as discounted packages for parties after school 3.30-5.30pm

Stay tuned as we get ready to kick off our collaboration with the Glitter Girls in style this Halloween!!

Today we join the world to mourn and commemorate the life of Her Majesty the Queen. She was the very definition of an inspirational woman, who touched so many lives during her historic 70 year reign.

Her legacy, love and commitment will live on in our hearts and minds forever. Thank you Ma’am, rest in peace x

Due to some massively unforeseen staffing circumstances, we are again forced to shut the Tea Garden (temporarily), while we regroup and find new staff.

Winter at The Tea Garden

As days become shorter and the winter weather is upon us, we have decided to draw the curtains and hunker down until the New Year!

Just to let you all know that we will be closed tomorrow 20th July….

We’ve had this day earmarked in the diary since Boris announced the ‘freedom’ date and we thought it would be nice to spend some time with our core team away from the shop to show our appreciation for all their hard work and support over the last year.

So tomorrow, we will be spending some time together with our Dotty Family ❤️ ❤️

Thanks for your understanding and we will be back open on Wednesday morning 🫖🍰

We’re looking forward to the match tonight 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 And wanted to let you know that we’ll be opening a little later than normal tomorrow morning as we will either be hung over or in total mourning 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣
