When Blondes opened 23 years ago, we were a coffee shop AND gift shop, packed with cheeky, naughty and slightly inappropriate gifts 😂

COVID changed all that and the gifts disappeared — but you lot have never stopped asking for them! We get asked daily, why we don’t sell our rude bits anymore. 😂

The truth is, we didn’t just want to go back to buying what we used to. We wanted to find something that felt more ethical, more considered and much more US. ❤️

🦆🦢🦌🦊WILDLIFE VOLUNTEERS DESPERATELY NEEDED! 💚

After our call out for volunteer drivers last week, you guys really showed up! Thank you so much. We now have a huge number of transport volunteers, covering a wide area. But we are asking now for something a little bit more.......

Ren’s Wildlife Hospital in Keyingham desperately needs reliable volunteers to help care for the huge number of animals currently coming through their doors.

They need people who can genuinely commit to a regular shift — even if that's just once a week or once a fortnight.

🕗 Morning: 8am–11am
🕓 Afternoon: 4pm–6pm
📅 Help needed 7 days a week

It's an amazing opportunity to get up close and help wildlife, but this isn't a petting zoo — these are wild animals relying on people to turn up, feed, clean and care for them.

PLEASE only get in touch if you are genuinely willing and able to commit. They've unfortunately had a lot of people offer and then not follow through, and they really need dependable help. ❤️

📍 Ren’s is in Keyingham, outside Hull. If you don't drive, the number 75 bus from Hull Interchange goes through Keyingham, and as luck would have it, stops at the driveway to Rens!

🐦‍⬛ If you're GENUINELY interested, message us with your name and phone number. We'll pass your details to the rescue and they'll contact you directly.

💧 AND ONE REALLY IMPORTANT THING…

In this horrible heat, our wildlife desperately needs WATER. Rescues are absolutely full to the brim with dehydrated animals.

Please put out fresh, shallow bowls of water in your garden or yard and keep them topped up. It takes us seconds and could genuinely save a little life. 💧🐦🦔🐿️

Please do your bit for our wildlife. They need us right now ###
