This building has been teaching people since 1897.

Back then it was Bodlondeb School, built on land gifted by Albert Wood.

For generations, this is where Conwy’s kids learned their letters. Later it became a youth centre, then it closed for good.

In 2018, despite a community campaign to save it, the old building came down.

But the story didn’t end there. In 2019 the Conwy Culture Centre rose in its place: home to the Conwy Archives, the library, a sensory garden… and us. ☕

Next time you’re in, take a look at our branding. It’s inspired by artwork from local schoolchildren, a little nod to everyone who once filled these halls with chalk dust and playground stories.

Same spot. Different chapter. Still full of people.
