All done for day one of this month's Proper Sitty Doon Drinkies weekend. And for only the second time ever...the rent is sorted on day one! 😁 Thank you to all the lovely people that turned up today and made the weekend a tremendous success with another six hours of Sunday drinkies to go!

I noticed lovely clear skies as I was walking home, and if you want to see Saturn - it's currently just down and left from the bright full moon. 🙂

Consett Community Market is on today until 3pm-ish. And the new neighbours Oh That Glow Tho. are having an official opening today if you need to top up your b**r tan! 🙂

Next up tonight are these cans from Firebrick Brewery, definitely in Blaydon.
Stottie B**r hasn't been in since last year, and Little Belgium hasn't been in since the brewery moved from bottles to cans (first time in cans maybe?) - I LOVE a witbier! 😍

First stock update tonight - almost a full range line up of cans from Thirsty Moose in Blaydon-ish / Ryton-ish (I never know where it officially sits...).
It's the first time I've had the Hazy Hinny with the updated label...you know, if you're the sort that collects them! 🙂

Decently productive little day "off" today. The b**rs for the Proper Sitty Doon Drinkies are ordered - two new pales / IPAs and a sturdy porter. We'll re-use a previous keg for the sour, most likely Tonka Fwonka.

I also did a flying stock grab through Blaydon - plenty more cans from Firebrick Brewery and Thirsty Moose. Full details when I get back to the shop on Wednesday evening.

Then the stuff at home that doesn't seem to be connected to the shop, but it all needs doing...when I have time. Two loads of washing, vacuumed through, cleaned dishes and pans, recovered and cleaned a "lost" hose reel from a jungle of vegetation (now filling the garden bin), and showered off the resulting filth and creepy crawlies...
Aaaand I made a lush chili con carne, but that's all for me, you can't have any of that. Ner! 😁
