Hi all.

This is a bit of a different post.

As part of Veterans & Community Hub CIC and the The VC Hub Gardening Service community engagement.

We are working with Connahs Quay Town Council to look at a youth engagement project! Nothing is set in stone yet but if it gets the sign off by the council then we will be looking for young people from the Red Hall Community/Connah’s Quay areas who are interested in designing a mural and painting the bust stop next to the cemetery on Bryn Road..

We want the local youth and community members to come up with designs about what matters to you in the area and for the community to take ownership of painting the design.

If you know any local young artists or graffiti artists who want the chance to engage with this and have their artwork on public display then please message via messenger or pop into Caffinaafi on Fron Road and leave your info and details.

Paint and materials will be provided.

This is early days in the process and we can explore designs and thoughts and maybe run a competition to select the winner??

Following the success of our first Caffinaafi Dining experience in March, the team have put together a Mediterraean themed offer for a limited number of guests to enjoy on Sunday 28 June from 5 - 8pm.

Once again Chef Nicky Sturley’s team have excelled themselves - they’ve been working hard on an exclusive 3 course menu that will delight the senses as well as the tastebuds.
