The Autumn/Winter lunch menu is on at The Coach & Horses, Timbersbrook — homemade, hearty, and exactly what a midweek deserves.

Starters like soup of the day, mushrooms on toast, black pudding fritters, pâté or a proper prawn cocktail.

Then pick a main: b**r-battered haddock, homemade pies, cottage pie, liver & onions, lamb hotpot, chilli, burgers… or the vegan pasta if that’s your mood.

Sandwiches and jackets can pinch-hit for a main too.

Puds and sides extra (we’re not monsters).
