The Next Chapter

After eight incredible years of serving the community, we are excited to announce the launch of Chapter 2, a new and invigorating phase in our story. Although the past few weeks have involved difficult decisions, our mission to support the community of Congleton remains unwavering. As we move forward, we are building upon the strong foundations of our past with renewed energy and a bold vision for the future.

With the invaluable support of The John Holford Charity, we are thrilled to announce plans for a new community space on Canal Street.

Our commitment to providing meals for those most in need remains a cornerstone of our mission. While we have secured funding for the next few months, additional support is crucial to ensure we can continue this essential work in the long term. The demand for our services is great, and we rely on generous contributions to sustain our efforts. We are reaching out for your help to ensure that we can keep making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.

As we embark on this exciting new venture, we recognise that none of this can happen without the dedication of our incredible volunteers and the generosity of our supporters. To reach the next phase of our journey we need volunteers and sponsors to help bring the new space to life.

While the next few months may appear quieter, rest assured that we are hard at work behind the scenes, developing the plans for Chapter 2. To our volunteers, we encourage you to take a well-deserved rest, knowing that your efforts have laid the foundations for this next chapter. Your hard work has been invaluable and as we move forward, we will need your support again soon. Thank you for being an essential part of our story.

We would be thrilled for you to join us as we build a future that honours the incredible work of the past eight years and creates an even more impactful legacy for the future. Together we can grow a community space that enriches lives and fosters lasting connections. To learn more about how you can sponsor or volunteer, please contact us at [email protected]

Your support whether through time, resources or financial contributions will help us continue our mission to reduce social isolation within our community.

If you’d like to show your support by donating you can find a link to our go fund me fundraiser on our various social media pages including our website, page and via the link below. 28/11/2024

As you all know by now, due to financial pressures were having to leave our much-loved home of 8 years. In the years, we have accumulated lots of lovely ‘stuff’ that we’d like to send to a good home, and gain a bit of money for the Old Saw Mill too.

Each Saturday in December, starting Saturday 7th December 2024, you are invited to come and see what’s for sale and make a bid.

Items for sale will be ticketed where you will be able to place a bid on an item that you’re interested in. Then, the highest donation bidder on that item can come and collect their items the during the W/C 16th December 2024.

Thank you for your continued support during this difficult time 🥰
