can't quite believe I'm talking about this already. I honestly don't think I'll ever be ready to experience Christmas in quite the same way again. ❤️

For those of you who know my story, Boxing Day was the day my world came crashing down. It was the day I suddenly lost my beautiful mum. My family and I were, and still are, absolutely devastated by her loss.

I opened Carlina's Cafe because my mum absolutely loved my homemade cooking. Her very last meal request was beef stew and dumplings. Even typing those words brings tears to my eyes.

My mum would have wanted me to share my food with the world, and that's exactly why I opened Carlina's Cafe. A little piece of her will always be in everything I cook. ❤️

This year, I've decided to open for TWO SPECIAL SUNDAYS IN DECEMBER, serving up my delicious, homemade Christmas dinners.

We've also been lucky enough to secure some business Christmas dinner orders, providing meals for older residents through a housing company. We feel incredibly honoured to be part of so many people's Christmas celebrations this year. A huge thank you to them for choosing us!

Good morning everyone. Its absolutely stunning here in italy, but I must admit theres only so much pasta and pizza you can eat.
One thing I am missing is a good English breakfast, I know call me boring, but theres nothing quite like the taste or a proper sausage, thick cut oven bacon, and most importantly a runny yolk to dip my thick cut toast in. Thats the first thing I shall be eating when im home sunday.🙈

🌿 I’m Hiring Again! 👩‍🍳

Hello everyone!

With all the new commitments and contracts I’ve been gaining, and the exciting opportunities that continue to come my way, I’ve reached the point where I need to grow my team once again!

I’m looking for someone who truly believes in real home cooking, using fresh, natural ingredients and preparing food with love and care. Someone who shares the same passion for good, wholesome food as I do.

✨ The role:

- 15 hours per week
- 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday
- Lunchtime hours
- Absolutely no weekends!
- A permanent position

🥕 The right person will:

- Have a genuine passion for fresh, wholesome, home, cooked food.
- Have a good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling.
- Have previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
- Be organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure.
- Take pride in preparing delicious food using natural, fresh ingredients.

I’ll be honest, I really struggle to admit when I need help. For a long time, I truly believed I could do it all myself. But as my little business continues to grow, I’m slowly realising that sometimes, growing means learning to let others in and trusting them to share the journey with you. ❤️

My team are already doing so well, I dont want to push them into many more things, so we're asking for help 😍

I’m so proud of what I’m building, and I want to continue delivering the quality, care and passion that go into every meal. Now, I’m ready to welcome the right person into my team to help me manage my growing contracts and continue doing what I love.

Just a few dishes from today’s buffet! 🥰🍽️

Honestly, I’ve been running around like a mad woman today, making a homemade pie for the little bees and putting together a buffet in just 2 hours! 😂❤️

Then, to top it all off, I had the wrong address! 🙈 I was absolutely mortified, but thankfully, they were so understanding about me being a little late. We’re all human, and sometimes things just don’t go to plan!

But then, an hour later, I received the loveliest phone call. 🥹❤️ They wanted to reassure me that the buffet was in house, that being a little late really didn’t matter, and that now I knew where they were. After everything they’d had going on today, they wanted ME to be their caterer moving forward! 🥹❤️

Delicious food, very tasty, and another great connection secured! 🙌🏼✨

What a sigh of relief! 😅❤️

I absolutely LOVE the support Congleton shows to local businesses. It means more than you know, and I’m so grateful for every opportunity, every recommendation and every connection made along the way. 🐝💛

So this is the littlest human who causes us the most chaos 🥹😂❤️

She’s always so poorly, and if you’re a tired mummy or daddy today, just like us, here’s your little survival kit! ☕️🥓🍳

Normally, I’d say Friday is treat day, but today it’s all about PURE SURVIVAL MODE 😂 More coffee, even more coffee, and a bacon, egg & hash brown toastie. Because sometimes, getting through the day is an achievement in itself! 🤣☕️
