This weekend we’ve got it all to come.

Chefs been working hard and created this weeks Sardine special. Small plate, starter or just a pub snack it’s not to be missed!

Like every Saturday we’ve got live music from 9pm with the amazing Liam McGrath.

We’ve got a new guest keg with our friends at Abbeydale Brewery] supplying us with an Orange West Coast IPA!

An finally to finish the weekend we’ve got our Sunday Roasts from 12 till 6:30. We’ve been fully booked for the last couple of weeks so be sure to book in as soon as possible.

Meet The Team

Not all heroes wear capes. Some pour pints.

The Bell has become a fair few people’s ‘go to local’ and there’s no one to thank more for that than the face of the bar ‘Skye’.

It’s important to us that Skye gets the thanks she deserves and also that everyone gets to know her a little better. So we asked her a few questions…

Favourite b**r - Dome by Track

Favourite thing about working at ‘The Bell’ - I can be myself and have got along with everyone pretty well (so far…)

Least favourite thing about working at ‘The Bell’ - Stuart (😂 only joking). I get fomo because I want to be on the side of the bar!

The summer is over it seems.

So this is just a thank you to everyone who came and visited us over the last few months!

We’ve had; weddings, shirt-gate, burgers and butty’s galore, the summer of the spritz, the boogie’s in the garden, the sunshine roasts and the heatwave of all heatwaves.

What a summer it’s been. An it’s thanks to the people of Congleton for making it happen.

We’ve got plenty more to come…

Did you know from the 17th till the 27th of September it’s National Cask Week? A celebration of the hand-pulled pint.

Cask b**r to us is a pint of British History. A true reflection of our culture in liquid form.

To celebrate it we’re giving away 1 GALLON of ale!

Our Head Chef dosen’t like to be on social media or to have his name mentioned so for the sake of the post we’ll refer to him as Bob.

Since Bob joined us things have really taken off and he’s taken the menu and standards to a whole new level.

Nothing is more symbolic of the hard work Bobs done than getting our EHO score. 5 stars.

We expected nothing less from Bob. You can even see he gave us a massive thumbs up to celebrate this achievement.

Cheers Bob. You’re the best.
