We’ve been busy at ‘The Bell’ and we’ve got more to come!

For those of you who’ve followed since, ‘The Big Pub Project’ days we’ve had our historic report printed and now displayed so that you guys can read from the report that, Birthed The Bell’. 📖

We also got accredited by which was a huge reassuring pat on the back that our cask is as good as it gets in how it’s conditioned and looked after! 🍻

An on that note we’ve got some cracking beers and ciders on our guest lines this week! We’ve got beer and cider from Yonder Brewing & Blending, Marble Brewery, Attic Brew Co., Lilley's Cider & Ossett Brewery.

Finally, what better way to enjoy these beverage beauties than to get yourself down for our live music tonight at 9pm. Come see the Cover Babes play acoustic twists on all the classics from all the generations and from all the genres. 🎶

Prior to this week we’ve opened at 1pm on Fridays.

However, we’ve had quite a few knocks on the doors and windows from you lovely folk.

You’ve been quite rightly demanding some lunch at ‘The Bell’ a little earlier on a Friday.

You ask and you shall receive.

Starting this Friday we’ll be open from 12pm onwards every Friday for sandwich’s, snacks. salads and of course our specials and new entries to the menu!.

(Did we mention we’ve added a duck dish to the menu?)

The face you pull when your favourite sports team and pub collaborate for an event!

Last weekend we hosted ‘The BBQ @ The Bell’ to help raise funds for Congleton Rugby Union Football Club and it was a huge success.

We hosted familiar faces, new faces and smiling
faces all while having a great laugh (photo proof)!

It’s incredibly rewarding giving back and working with local club and charities.

Oysters! in Congleton?! 🦪🦪🦪

Love them or hate them our oysters have been going down a treat!

We even captured our superstar waitress Jess trying one for the first time.

Safe to say she’s in the, ‘hate them’ camp! 😂🤣

There’s only one way to find out what camp you fall into!

We knew we wanted to keep provenance and passion at the heart of everything we do and that included our cheese!

We’ve got a new friend called Gary and he’s a bit of a fun-guy.

Gary popped through our front door just a few weeks before we opened and completely sold us on his exotic mushrooms from Gillow Heath.

We loved them so much we built a whole dish around them. Our twist on the classic ‘Mushrooms on Toast’.

We also, pair our steaks with one of his soon-to-be famous mushrooms alongside one of our all-British heritage tomatoes.

He’s back.

Our boy Keaton Marrs is coming in hot this Saturday 9pm.
