Great news from Saturday the 1st we are serving food all day from 12 noon till 9pm Monday to Saturday and our carvery is served 12 noon till 7pm.

We are also hiring waiting staff for the summer season with the chance to continue into the winter. If you're interested in joining our team please call us on 01271 882300 and ask to speak to Debbie.

Our renowned carvery returns this Sunday, operating from 12 noon until 7 PM. The menu features slow-cooked pork belly, roast beef, roast lamb, roast turkey breast, homemade sage and onion stuffing, three potato varieties, nine vegetable selections, and all accompanying trimmings. Thank you to everyone who came to our quiz night on Saturday, the last one before the summer, and to all of the quizzes over the winter months. The plan is to be back late September/early October but we will keep you all in the loop with those details.

Also a massive thank you to Debbie, Izzy and all of the staff through quiz season for helping with prizes, putting scores on the board and for keeping everyone fed, watered and happy. It's a team effort and I love our team, and you dear quizzers.

Enjoy the summer, wear suncream, and keep those brain cogs turning for me to test you in the autumn. Quizmaster out for summer🎤

Well today is a big day for us. It's the anniversary of Chris and Debbie taking over the pub. We'd like to say thank you to all the customers over the years and especially to all our staff past and present. It's amazing to look back at what the pub was like when we first took over to what it is now. We've had a wonderful time and look forward to many more years to come.

Hi all🎤 just a reminder that next Saturday, June 6th, is our next charity quiz and the last one before the autumn. We will be starting at 7pm, there's a maximum of 6 people per team and it's £2 per quizzer.

This month all the money we raise will be going to the North Devon Hospice, a very important facility and charity that has helped so many people we know and love.

So come on down and help us raise some money for a good cause while testing our minds and hopefully having some fun at the same time🎤

Hey all🎤 A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our end of April quiz night, we all had a fabulous time and raised a lovely pot for the Little Wildlife Hotel, a fantastic cause we hope to help again in the future. I was having such a lovely time I forgot to take any pics, so here's my new quizmaster hat as punishment for me and for you to enjoy if you missed it the other night.

Next quiz, and the last one till the other side of summer hols, will be June 6th, but we will remind you all closer to the time don't worry. So pop it in the diary, enjoy the warmth of May and the festivities of Rone, and I'll see you in four weeks!🎤
