Although both are members of the Feldspar family, did you know that Rainbow Moonstone is actually technically a white variety of Labradorite? 🌈✨

Almost 18 months after we opened the in person crystals & coffee shop side of the business in Colne, and we've finally filled the big blank wall that has been taunting us!

We've gone back and forth on artwork, mirrors, panels, you name it, and nothing ever seemed right, until we found this gorgeous big beautiful map!

We needed some more artwork to accent it, and that's where Stu's Fossil Friday sketches came in, paired with some wonderful images from James Sowerby's early 1800s 5-part work "British Mineralogy". These plates used to create the original work were hand engraved in copper, finished with watercolour, and then as a final touch, gum Arabic was used to give the appropriate crystals their shine.

Pop on down and see for yourself - we're open for crystals, coffee, cake & gifts, Wednesday - Saturday, 10am - 4pm, opposite Sainsbury's in Colne (carpark access off Dickson Street) ✨
