Yesterday evening our bar manager Mark Irwin presented members of Cross Glebe Community Association - Men's Club a cheque of ยฃ1,750. We here at Patsy's are proud to donate this money and we hope it can go some way in helping the men continue the fantastic work they do within the Coleraine area! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘จ

Cross Glebe Community Association - Menโ€™s Club started in February of 2025. This enabled men from within the catchment area to come together, once a week, for fellowship, a chat, rest-bite & most importantly a bit of craic!

They meet every Tuesday night in the Community House, beside Harpurs Hill Primary School, at 7pm and provide a professional darts set-up, pool table, tea, coffee & light refreshments! โ˜•๏ธ๐ŸŽฏ๐ŸŽฑ

In their first year they have:

โžก๏ธ Provided a 4 week Mental Health Awareness program for men, which was facilitated by The Hummingbird Project, a local mental health service ๐Ÿ’ฌ๐Ÿง 

โžก๏ธ Climbed the highest mountain in Northern Ireland, Slieve Donard, guided by Hikes & Co โ›ฐ๏ธ

โžก๏ธ Went on scheduled day trips to the Jungle in Cookstown, Go-Karting, Top Darts & many more activities ๐ŸŽ

They currently have 25 members & if anyone is interested in joining call to the Community House, beside Harpurs Hill Primary School, any Tuesday Night at 7pm ๐Ÿ‘จ

From everyone here at Patsy's Bar we want to wish the lads all the best for the future and to congratulate them on the amazing work that they already do for men's mental health & well-being within our local area ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’™

Starting us off on Friday we have Heat 3 of our KARAOKE COMPETITION. We've already 6 confirmed finalists! So if you would like to join them and be in with a chance at the ยฃ1500 prize pot, then get down with us this Friday night! ๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽถ

That leads us on to Saturday & we will be hosting a special Armed Forces Day event to show our support for all our fighting men & woman, both past and present. All details can be found in our previous post earlier in the week. ๐Ÿช–๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

This Saturday 20th June 2026 will see our sweet little town of Coleraine host Armed Forces Day ๐Ÿช–

We're delighted to say that we here at Patsy's Bar proudly support all of our Armed Forces and we will be holding a special Armed Forces Day event in the bar!

We're delighted to say that DJ Hammer will be playing music throughout the day and also be holding a special sing-along, that will include British War Time tunes! ๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽถ

As another treat for you all, we will have Articlave Flute Band joining us later in the afternoon and treating us to a number of tunes! We can't wait to hear the band playing and we appreciate the band taking the time out of their schedule to join us! ๐Ÿชˆ๐Ÿฅ

Lastly folks we will be holding a raffle and a few other competitions with prizes up for grabs & all proceeds will be going towards the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal ๐ŸŒบ
