As many of you know.......we have not owned the restaurant/hotel for sometime.....
If you miss the great local produce that was used to create all our dishes you can purchase much of the same at our farmshop......
We look forward to seeing you.

The Blackwell family has been farming in the Coggeshall area for four generations. My Grandfather and Father both farmed at Herons Farm and I have continued this tradition over the last 30 years.

Dear Customers

We would like to inform you that we will no longer be running Blackwells Restaurant with Rooms.
Although we have loved the experience we feel it is too far detached from our main core businesses and due to those businesses growing we cannot keep our finger on the button there as much as we would like to.
We will be handing the reins over to Richard Lester of The Rare Cow; Richard and his chefs will be using our meat and veg', as he does in his other restaurants. We wish him every success, and hopefully you will support him as you have us.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you that did support us over our time there.
