Today is all about you, Rick.

We’ll fill this pub with the people who loved you most — your family, your friends, and all those whose lives you touched over the years. We’ll share stories, remember the laughter, the good times and all the memories that made you so special to us.

There’ll be tears, there’ll be laughter, and no doubt plenty of stories that would make you shake your head and smile.

And, of course, we’ll raise your favourite drink in your honour — because somehow, even though you’re not here to share it with us, it wouldn’t feel right without one 🥃

Today, we celebrate you, the memories you gave us, in the place you always held close to your heart.

Cheers to you, Rick. You are deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. 💙

All that new and loved Rick, new his son Harry was his absolute world 🌍

Losing a parent is heartbreaking at any age, but at just 18, having to worry about the financial burden of a funeral makes an already incredibly difficult time even harder.

A fund-raiser has been set up by Ricks closest friend’s to help Harry raise the funds to give his Dad the send off he deserves.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this post — every share could help us reach someone who can.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support you can give 💙

During this very difficult time we would like to help his Son Harry raise as much as possible to give his Dad the send off he deserves.

Our team member Daisy had the most beautiful and thoughtful idea — to create a special tribute to Rick on the bench he loved so much in the pub garden. 🤍🪽

This wasn’t just any bench. This was Rick’s bench.
A place where he’d sit in the summer sunshine, Captain Morgan’s in hand, enjoying the simple moments and waiting for his friends to come and join him. 🍻☀️

So many happy memories were made there, and it feels incredibly fitting that this little corner of the garden can now become a place where we can remember him, share those memories, and feel close to him.

We’d love for anyone who knew and loved Rick to bring a flower and leave it on his bench — a small but heartfelt gesture of love, remembrance and farewell. 🌹

Each flower will be a reminder of someone who was loved, who brought laughter and friendship into people’s lives, and who will be deeply missed.

Rick’s bench, surrounded by flowers, memories and the people who cared about him. 🤍🪽

Rest easy, Rick. You’ll always have your seat. 🍻🤍

Today we raise a glass to a true legend. ❤️🍻

We’re deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a much-loved friend and regular, and of course one of the faces of the pub poker ♥️♣️

He wasn’t just a familiar face at the bar — he was part of the furniture, part of the laughter, and part of the community. There were always stories to share, cards to play, and a few laughs to be had whenever he walked through the door.

The place won’t feel quite the same without him.

Rest easy, Rick, You’ll be missed, remembered, and spoken about for years to come 🍻💙
