🍔 Big burgers, bold flavours and plenty to get your teeth into at The Anchor.

Our burger menu gives you some seriously tasty choices, so bring your appetite.

🥓 The Full Stack, our homemade steak mince beef burger with cheddar, bacon, fried onions, special BBQ burger sauce and beef bouillon jus.

🔥 The Loaded Hot & Dirty, loaded with jalapeños, cheddar, jalapeño and cream cheese bites, BBQ sauce and sriracha, with red jalapeño slaw for even more kick.

🍗 The Big Clucker, Anchor fried chicken with cheddar, fried onions, sriracha mayo and our special BBQ burger sauce.

You’ll also find our classic Cheeseburger, the Chickenburger with butterfly garlic chicken breast, and The Green Stack, featuring a plant based patty topped with cheddar, fried onions, chilli tomato salsa and BBQ sauce.

It’s getting to that time of year when a cosy table and a good meal sound especially tempting. 🍂

Payday weekend is here, so why spend Sunday cooking when you could be sitting down to a gorgeous roast at The Anchor? 🍽️

Choose from rosemary roast leg of lamb, 28 day aged beef, turkey crown with stuffing or our vegetarian roast. Can’t decide? The Three Meat Super Roast brings lamb, beef and turkey together on one plate.

Every roast comes with roast potatoes, honey roast root vegetables, steamed veg, peas, Yorkshire pudding and as much gravy as you like. You can add cauliflower cheese or honeyed pigs in blankets too!

If you fancy a smaller portion, our small plate roasts are roughly half the usual size and start at £13.50.

Bring your favourite people, enjoy Sunday lunch and leave the cooking and washing up to us. Who’s joining us this weekend? 🤎

There’s something about a chippy tea on a Friday night. 🐟🍟

At The Anchor, you can tuck into our battered catch of the day with chips and peas, but there’s plenty more to choose from. We’ve got breaded scampi tails, battered fish goujons and a mixed fish platter with prawns and whitebait. Or, if you fancy a change, try our fisherman’s pie or gochujang salmon.

Our fish is delivered fresh daily, so the catch of the day depends on availability. Pull up a chair and start the weekend with us.
