Good afternoon everyone☕️

Thank you for all of the comments and interest on our recent post with queries and well wishes, also to everyone who has sent their CV in for the roles we had advertised. I’m sorry that I have been unable to respond to them all individually.

Opening times as requested are 9am - 4pm with brunch being served until 2:30pm Monday - Friday as of last week the plan was to only open midweek however we will plan to be opening up Monday - Sunday as of this week 9am - 4pm with brunch usually being served until 2:30pm.

Unfortunately tomorrow we will be serving a limited menu and potentially only coffee, cakes and sandwiches due to unforeseen circumstances. This isn’t the service we were hoping to be providing but it’s been unavoidable and we hope you can understand😣🙏🏼

We have been closed over this weekend as advertised on a post. Sorry to anyone who visited and was disappointed due to us not being open. We decided to open as a soft launch as there is still work going on behind the scenes and this gives us time to get work completed. Ready for us to soon go full steam ahead!🤗

We are expanding our menu in due course and will be having more GF and vegan options to the menu and I will advertise once we have the dishes decided.

Our upstairs seating area is in progress and this will allow us to serve more customers as we do not want to overcrowd the small downstairs Resturant seating area to keep it a pleasant experience and atmosphere for customers🥰

YES we are dog friendly. We know that dogs are important to our clientele. As long as your doggy is friendly and well behaved they’re welcome🐶

In regards to the job post we are making our way through applicants CV’s and will be in touch. The job post is now closed thank you to all who spent the time sending messages in there were so many of you and we really appreciate the time🙏🏼❤️

We are looking for casual weekday and weekend staff to join our busy, cosy little coffee shop☕️

The role includes serving customers, making coffees, handling orders, pot washing, cleaning and helping with the day-to-day running of the coffee shop. We’re looking for friendly, reliable team players who can work well in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

* Making and serving coffee and other drinks
* Taking customer orders and processing payments
* Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the café
* Restocking supplies and assisting with food preparation
* Opening and closing duties when required
* Working efficiently during busy periods
* Supporting fellow team members across all areas of the business

What we’re looking for:

* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Great communication and customer service skills
* Ability to multitask and stay organised under pressure
* Reliable, punctual, and flexible availability
* Previous café or hospitality experience preferred, but not essential
* Barista experience is a bonus, though training can be provided

Hours can vary between 8am–5pm, with potential additional evenings and weekend shifts going forwards. We are really needing staff members who are able to work during the week and are flexible🤞🏼🤗

Day 2 ☕️🍰🍴
Another beautifully busy day serving coffees, cakes and brunch!
Our little team of 3 didn’t stop moving from 8-4!😅
Got some snaps of our delicious sausage on toast with poached eggs on sourdough with homemade chilli jam and pesto oil🥵 a firm favourite.

I was busy baking to get some fresh cakes on the counter and they all went down a treat! We had the Raspberry almond slice, lemon drizzle loaf with sugar coated crust, blueberry scones and delicious chocolate fudge brownie!

We have a little behind the scenes to share with you all🫣… our joiner COU Joinery and Construction has pulled it out the bag with his skills on our Coffee Shop Clitheroe bar and counter area. Not to mention all of the other work he has done! We can’t thank you enough 🙌🏻🤩 We love it and can’t wait to put it into action… & to make things even more exciting, the beer pumps are being fit this week! Any guesses on which 2 we have gone for (Or at least hope we have)!?🤔🍻🍷☕️

Good evening all!🫖☕️

A long-awaited update from us here at Coffee Shop Clitheroe — and thank you for bearing with us while we’ve been working hard behind the scenes!🖤

Everyone involved has been working tirelessly to get the shop ready, and we’re excited to say we’re almost there. The last few weeks have brought some huge progress 🙌🏻

We’re hoping to launch in the coming weeks, with an official opening date to be confirmed as soon as we know we can give our customers the very best experience from day one 🤗

Our plan is to bring you the same amazing coffee, and brunch you know and love from our stunning sister branch — taking huge inspiration from their years of expertise and excellence and our own in house baker serving freshly baked cakes on the daily☕️✨

However, in the evenings we’ll be adding our own special Coffee Shop Live twist — with live music, sharing boards, beer on tap, and wine flowing🍺🍷

We now have our manager, chef, baker, and assistant manager on board, all eagerly awaiting opening day. We truly can’t wait to welcome you through the doors 😍

We are aiming to open in April with a special twist. Our licence allows us to stay open until 11pm, serving amazing food and alcohol.

On most Fridays and Saturdays evenings, we will transform into “Coffee Shop LIVE” — bringing you fantastic live singers and music, all set in the most beautiful, quirky, and cosy setting in Swan Courtyard. 🎶✨
