Hi everyone, Beckie’s Tearoom here! ☕🍰

We’ve got a lovely local farmers market happening right next door today, so why not make a day of it and pop in to see us too!

Freshly baked and prepared this morning we have:
🥚 Homemade Scotch eggs
🍫 Delicious chocolate cake with blackcurrant filling
🥧 Cookie dough pie loaded with Biscoff and Crunchie
🥖 Fresh crusty cobs from Ashley’s, filled with hot pork and stuffing

Prefer a sandwich? No problem — we can serve the hot pork and stuffing as a sandwich too.

Hi everyone, Beckie’s Tearoom here ☕🍰

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet on here lately — we’ve been keeping very busy! Firstly, a huge thank you to each and every one of you for continuing to support my little business. It truly means so much.
Alongside the tearoom keeping us on our toes, over the last week we’ve also completed two outside catering events, both of which went really well.

On Saturday, I had the privilege of providing afternoon tea for a very special birthday celebration, and later that evening headed back up to the house in Bayton to cook a fabulous barbecue. This lovely family has made us feel so welcome over the past few months, and I’m really looking forward to continuing to work with them and supporting some exciting catering plans ahead.

And for today’s treats…

This evening at the tea room, we held our monthly meditation session. It was my second time taking part, and I have to say I found it much more beneficial than the first.

The first time, I didn't feel as though I fully immersed myself in the experience. This evening was different. I felt truly at ease, able to tune into my inner thoughts and simply be present in the moment. As the session unfolded, a gentle sense of calm settled over me, and I left feeling centred, refreshed, and more in control of both my mind and body.

If you're feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or finding it difficult to cope with the challenges of everyday life, I genuinely believe meditation can help. It provides an opportunity to slow down, clear your mind, and develop techniques to manage life's ups and downs as they arise.

The sessions take place on the first Wednesday of every month at Beckie’s tea room from 7:00pm until 8:30pm.

What a day at Beckie’s Tea room— I truly believe it’s been the busiest day we’ve ever had!

A huge thank you to everyone who came to visit today. It was lovely to see so many new faces alongside all of my wonderful loyal locals. And an extra special thank you to the local business that placed such a massive order today — your support means so much.

I’m incredibly grateful for every single customer who walks through the door. Days like today remind me that I really am living the dream. Thank you all once again ❤️

And this make me enjoy my job even more. So grateful for the people for whom i get to do buffets and meals for. ###

What a wonderful evening celebrating a very special 80th birthday at Beckie’s Tea Room 🎉

It was a privilege to cook for 14 guests on such a lovely occasion. The menu included samosas served with poppadoms and chutney, followed by a choice of homemade chicken balti or chickpea & spinach curry, served with rice, chips and naan bread.

To finish, guests enjoyed vanilla & raspberry panna cotta with homemade shortbread 🍓

Thank you so much to everyone who came along and for all the lovely feedback — we’re so pleased everyone enjoyed the evening and helped make it such a special celebration ❤️

Supporting small independent businesses like ours ❤️

We just stopped off at the Old Swan Tea Room and Cake Shop on the way to the seaside. Thank you guys for understanding that life isn’t always about work, work, work.

Sometimes it’s about slowing down, making memories, and enjoying quality family time together ☕🍰🌊

Hi everyone,
Beckie’s Tearoom here.

Due to the intense heat forecast for Bank Holiday Monday (with temperatures expected to reach 30°C+), I’ve decided to give both myself and Karen the day off so we can enjoy some family time in the sunshine.

I really hope you understand and thank you for your continued support.

We will be back open as usual on Tuesday at 9am.
