💙💛 CLASSIC VICTORIA SPONGE 💛💙

A classic victoria sponge cake made for two sisters who's birthdays are very close to each others.

I love a simple looking cake..sometimes less is more..and that's exactly what this is!

8inch vanilla sponge, vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam. I did actually slice some strawberries and placed them on top before customer collected, I forgot to picture it before it before it left 🤦🏽‍♀️

Another cake for my son 😂 because who wants only one cake, when you can have two?

This time we made a 6inch chocolate sponge cake, filled with green buttercream, covered in dark chocolate ganache and topped with remaining green buttercream and an edible image of Mando and Grogu.

This is becoming a firm favourite! And I still love creating it.

Chocolate sponge covered in chocolate icing fur, with handmade fondant nose, eyes, ears and horns! So so cute 🌸

And 24 'Thirty' vanilla cupcakes, topped with vanilla buttercream - 12 fondant 'Thirty' toppers and 12 with rose gold and black sprinkles, then sprayed with rose gold edible lustre dust.

First time making a shirt shape cake, and another one I enjoyed doing!

A vanilla sponge filled with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam, covered in blue fondant. The name and number was designed by me and printed onto edible icing, carefully cut out and placed on the shirt.

Admin catch up coming up over the next day or two from another busy week last week! I'll be scheduling some posts to go out tomorrow sharing the pictures.

I will also be sharing some 'thank you teacher' cupcakes and cookies this week when I have finished them. Some of which will be hand painted, and others will be designed and then printed onto edible icing sheets.

I haven't offered Fathers Day goodies as I've been stacked out with orders for the last and next couple of weeks. Next year I think I will block some time off to be able to offer them.

Next up...

My baby boy 🥹 the one who couldn't decide between Pokémon,Sonic and Mario..so we went for them all! And why not, eh? With his favourite characters printed and cut out, matching sprinkles, handmade gold coins, lightening bolt and gold rings..he had it all!

Zacs cake was vanilla sponge filled with raspberry jam and buttercream. However, his birthday isn't until Tuesday so saving the cake to cut then, but after his party today, he gave each of his friends a cupcake with the middle cut out, filled with jam and topped with buttercream - a mini version of his cake with a personalised topper!

Happy early birthday, my gorgeous boy!! 😘🩵7️⃣
