Disclaimer: At the heart of our work is the well being of our animals. Many of our animals are rescues re-homes or , and we take a gentle, patient approach to preparing them for therapy. We spend a long period of time getting to know each animal, building trust and carefully observing their behaviour to ensure that therapy life is right for them. Animals are never rushed into sessions and are always given choice and space to feel safe and comfortable. If an animal shows that therapy is not suitable for them, their welfare always comes first; we make sure they are healthy, supported, and, where needed, help them find a loving forever home. All staff and volunteers receive thorough training to ensure the highest standards of animal care, handling, and safety. Before any interaction takes place, clear rules are explained to everyone meeting the animals, helping to create calm, respectful, and positive experiences for both the animals and the people we support.
