💙 A little announcement from us… 💙
It’s taken us a while to find the courage to post this, but as some of you may already know, Wendy’s in Cinderford has now closed.
There have been lots of rumours about why we have closed, so we wanted to explain things properly and honestly to stop all the rumours!
For the last while, there have been just three of us running Wendy’s — myself included. I welcomed a baby into the world just 2 weeks ago 🥹🍼. Mum who also been working in there is having some health issues and has lots of upcoming appointments and procedures.
On top of that, there is a huge amount of work that happens behind the scenes — paperwork, running the business and, of course, physically being in the chip shop every day, with at least one of us needed there.
With everything going on and so many appointments ahead, we don’t want to reach a point where we can’t give Wendy’s, our customers or ourselves the time and reliability we feel you all deserve.
💙 This decision has absolutely NOT been made lightly.
However… this is not the end of ‘Wendy’s’! 👀
We have BIG plans for the future and we promise this isn’t goodbye forever. 💙
For now, we’re going to take some much-needed time as a family, enjoy having a newborn baby in the mix 🥰, let Mum concentrate on getting better, and take a little breather.
And those of you who know us personally will know that we’ll probably be itching to get back before you know it! 😂
A huge THANK YOU to every single person who has supported us through the highs, the lows and everything in between.
To our regulars — we are genuinely going to miss seeing so many of you. 💙
This may be a little pause for Wendy’s, but watch this space… 👀
