Head to nearby Acton Scott a week on Sunday (5th July) for a day filled with Classic Vehicles, food, drink and good cheer!

The communities of Acton Scott & Eaton-under-Heywood look forward to welcoming you to their annual Classic Vehicle Day. This year the event is being held next to Acton Scott Heritage Farm, by kind permission of Colin Bowen and Acton Scott Estate.

- If you have a cherished vehicle, be it a car, tractor or bike, bring it along - all we ask is that you register your vehicle on Eventbrite in advance via this link, as spaces will be limited:

Proceeds
All proceeds from the event will be split between Acton Scott Church and Eaton Church to preserve heritage assets for future generations.

Seasonal Summer Part Time Position (with potential for permanent role)

We are looking for a friendly, hardworking Front of House All-Rounder to join our team at our busy, fast-paced rural country café for the summer season.
For the right candidate, this role has the potential to become a permanent position.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a lively environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

Working Hours
- Varied daytime shifts
- Wednesday to Sunday
- No evening work
- Plus Bank Holiday Mondays when required

Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and providing excellent service
- Taking orders and operating the till
- Serving food
- operating coffee machine (barista training available)
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Assisting with basic food and drink preparation
- Maintaining a clean and organised front-of-house area
- Supporting the team during busy service periods

About You
- Friendly, positive and reliable
- Able to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Previous café, restaurant, or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential
- Age 18+
