More Than Just Coffee ☕❤️

Every coffee we serve tells a story.

Boardwalk Café is a training café run by Together Our Community, supporting young adults with learning disabilities and additional needs to gain real workplace experience, build confidence, and develop skills for the future.

The smile in this photo is what makes our café so special. It represents pride, achievement, independence, and the confidence that comes from learning something new.

When you visit us, you’re not just buying a coffee or a slice of cake. You’re supporting opportunities, celebrating achievements, and helping create a community where everyone can thrive.

We are truly happy and honoured to be part of these amazing people’s lives and journeys. Watching them grow in confidence, develop new skills, and achieve things they once thought impossible is the greatest reward of all.

That’s what makes Boardwalk Café different. ❤️

I would like to share my appreciation to Richard from Kondis, who makes some of our delicious cakes at Boardwalk Café. Recently, I gave him a very special task to make a birthday cake
for someone special who absolutely loves lemon sugar pancakes with blueberries… and Richard did not disappoint! 🤩

He created this incredible lemon blueberry cake, beautifully covered with mini pancakes, and it honestly looks almost too good to eat. The flavour, the creativity, and the attention to detail were absolutely amazing.

We are very happy to work alongside another fantastic local business and support each other within our community. 💙

Thank you so, so much again Richard — you made a young lady very happy! 🫐🥞🍋
