Firstly, thank you to everyone who has continued to support us during this week’s beautiful weather.

Like many hospitality businesses, we’ve noticed that when the sun comes out, people understandably spend more time outdoors, which has resulted in fewer bookings and some cancellations.

Rather than preparing large quantities of buffet food and risking unnecessary food waste, we’ve decided to serve our full À La Carte Menu throughout this week.

This means all your favourite Kerala and South Indian dishes will be freshly prepared to order as normal.

❤️ Happy Father’s Day ❤️

Today, I want to wish a very Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures who quietly sacrifice so much for their families.

A special thank you to my own father.

A man who gave up his house so that I could continue my studies, and who spent his entire life putting his family before himself. Everything he did was for us never for him.

As a father myself now, I understand a little more each day what sacrifice, responsibility and unconditional love truly mean.

Thank you, Acha, for every sacrifice, every lesson, every prayer and every opportunity you gave me. I would not be where I am today without you.

Our community garden group Alleppey Community Garden is going really well. Will you be kind enough to follow this page, pretty please? Looking forward to lots of support, help and advice.

Hi everyone, quick update from today’s Alleppey Community Garden meeting.

Today we met with Angie, Audrey, Debbie, Paddy, Em and Sree. Apologies from Annie and Chris, who couldn’t make it today.

A few positive updates:

• We have now joined some Bolsover community groups.
• The page for Alleppey Community Garden has been created.
• The skip is now here — a big thank you to Dawn Skips for helping us with this.
• Thank you also to Wayne at Easy living landscaping and Chris Clarke at gardening for their support and advice.

This Saturday, we are meeting again to start the first practical part of the project by cleaning up the garden area.

Thank you everyone for the support so far. It feels like we are slowly getting this lovely community project moving.
