This week, we’re introducing Tali, a 3 year old Shetland Sheepdog who loves showing off, collecting admirers and showing us all her best tricks! 🐶

When she’s not impressing everyone, she’s happiest enjoying a long walk. One thing she definitely doesn’t like? Being bored!

And Tali’s not just a pretty face she competes in agility, has a job as a trauma and wellbeing support dog, and she can even play football! ⚽🐾

There’s only one way to celebrate National B**r Day at The Boathouse… with a proper good pint! 🍻

And when we say proper, we mean it. We’re proud to be pouring JW Lees— Manchester’s oldest operating brewery, brewing right in Middleton since 1828. That’s nearly 200 years of brewing tradition, with seven generations of the Lees family keeping the craft going. 🍺

From a classic pint of Bitter to a refreshing MPA or Manchester Craft L***r, there’s something about a pint brewed right here in Greater Manchester that just hits differently.

Say hello to Frankie, one of our brilliant Front of House team! Frankie has been part of The Boathouse team for two years and is always ready to welcome you with a smile. 😊

When he’s not looking after our guests, you’ll usually find Frankie enjoying his favourite from the menu our Nourish Bowl🥗 or grabbing a Manchester Craft L***r from the bar. 🍺

Away from the Boathouse, Frankie is studying Accounting & Finance at university and is now in his final year! 📚🎓

🐾DOG OF THE WEEK🐾

Say hello to Arlo, a very cute 10 month old Cavapoo who popped in for a visit this week. And, like most of our four legged visitors, he was very happy to get involved with the treats! 😂

Arlo’s a big fan of pretty much everything, and he’s even mastered a sit and a paw. Give him a treat and he’ll probably be your best mate for life.

But there’s another reason for the celebrations this week… Arlo’s parents have only gone and got engaged! 💍❤️

Huge congratulations to you both from all of us at The Boathouse. Wishing you many happy years together and we’re sure Arlo will be expecting a starring role in the wedding! 🐶🥂
