That Beer Place

04/10/2026

Sorry folks... we'll be opening a little later than usual this week (& next Monday, 12th Oct) as we'll be jetting off to Bilbao & San Sebastian for a bit of a b**r & sidra adventure.

Lisa'll be working on her escanciado (c***r-throwing) technique, whilst I'll probably just be eating my own body weight in pintxos.

Ciao! See you soon...

9TH OKTOBERFEST WEEKENDER!!!

Yes, since we opened our doors in 2018 we've celebrated Munich's Oktoberfest in style.

We'll have all the official Oktoberfest b**rs in stock (none of this flogging any random German stuff and pretending that's good enough!)

Our taps will be filling steins from Friday to Sunday and the team will be running the show in their usual lederhosen and dirndls.

COME... JOIN US!!!!

Google reviews once again giving us a giggle... thanks Colin.

Obviously, a black l***r, an amazing Warpigs pale ale, a Deya smoked s'mores imperial stout, a Tiramisu sour from the legendary Swedish brewery Elm Eleven or six amazing real c***rs were just too 'standard' for him. 😂 Poor Colin.

IT’S NOT JUST POURING PINTS

We’re looking for the next That B**r Place legend. We're after Part time team members who are curious, adaptable, and full of good energy.

You won’t just be serving drinks. One day you might be cellaring kegs or scrubbing the coldstore; the next, helping someone find their new favourite sour, pulling pints for a private party, or even setting up for one of our many events. Every shift’s different... and we LOVE it that way!

This is a job for someone who:
Loves learning and wants to become a b**r and c***r expert
Thrives working alone or as part of a Team
Takes pride in keeping things clean, tidy and top-notch
Cares about making people feel welcome
Doesn’t mind mucking in, whatever the task
Ideally has some experience in retail or hospitality - we are both!
Is available for weekend and evening shifts. There may be some daytime work too

In return, we offer:
Training & Growth: Learn on the job and work toward qualifications like Cicerone Certified B**r Server and Certified C***r Professional.
Staff Discount: Perks on our ever-changing shelves.
Paid Benefits: Holiday, sick pay, and training
Competitive Pay: Hourly rate depending on experience
Workplace Pension: We've got you covered
Tips: 100% shared across our Team

Sound like your kind of challenge? Drop your CV to Lisa at cheers@thatb**rplace.co.uk and let’s have a chat.
