Christmas Wine Sale 11am - 2pm

Let’s turn Da Noi into an Italian wine shop (precursor of the future?) for three hours ahead of our “last supper” and give you access to all of the wines you have experienced at the restaurant so you can buy them and enjoy them with your families and friends after our closure..

Come in for perusal and purchase!

We have created an experience on our booking system so you can register your interest. To all the people who will book, we will send our wine list and prices as a preview on Monday next week (16/12) and our special offers for the day, and you can preorder rather than turning up on the day so you can get the best stuff in advance.

We will continue to sell on the day obviously until stock lasts.

2 weeks to go..

In the blink of an eye, over two months have gone by and they have just been incredible.

Closing a restaurant down in the busiest period of the year-a countertrend in pure Fabrizio style-but we are nothing short of amazed about the support so far.

Both me and Valentina are walking on a thin wire as the emotions are pretty big and are rising over and over looking at the final day, but we keep going and committing even more..

So, it’s time to make a few announcements.

1. We decided to stop selling gift cards as of today. Countertrend again but we do not want to run the risk of having issues with people buying them as a Christmas gift (which is a great intention) and giving them to someone who will have no restaurant to go to after Christmas 😊. Gift cards are non-refundable so please inform who you know has one-you guys need to make a booking quick if you haven’t done so yet.

2. We will keep an up-to-date track of the bookings and publish them every single day in our stories. Our recommendation: if you are looking to come and dine at Da Noi one last time do not look only at Friday or Saturday night. Mid-week and lunches (including Sundays) are the slots you will get more chances on.

3. Tens of people asked me-what are you going to do with all your wine? Well, one like me definitely knows what to do with it.. but rather than seeing myself drunk around the house in January I thought about something different which I will announce tomorrow 👀

Last Friday and last Saturday at Da Noi.

Only 6 weeks to go now.. we are truly making the best memories and the warmth we have been receiving is unbelievable.

We are so proud we have managed to lift up the level another notch with this menu and wines before our send-off in December.

Best way to express our gratitude for the immense support we have received over the past 7 years.

Food preparation has always been Chef Valentina’s favourite moment in a regular working day.

Whilst a lot of chefs thrive in the buzz and the pressure of the service time, she totally prefers coming in in the morning, get her deliveries of fresh ingredients and get her “preps” done, very often by herself.

This is the best time for her to connect with her food, and where her true passion comes alive, and with it memories and new ideas.

One week after our announcement and it’s been an absolute blast of emotions..

The warmth of your private and public messages has certainly left a mark and made us even prouder. We know it’s going to be hard to let Da Noi go, but we are determined to do everything to do it on the very high.

There is still room for a lot of memories to be made, loads of good food and wine to be had, jokes to be cracked, celebrations to be held and so on.

We have now officially opened the slots for the last two services, Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd December in the evening. Help yourselves to them using the usual channels.

We just added a little limitation on the number for the 23rd. If it gets booked out soon as we expect, put your name down on the waitlist or message us, ok?

Do share this message far and wide, we are already seeing a big reservation number increase, but we definitely want to see more and more of old and new faces down at Da Noi.

Just a little more time before we can announce our last event/collaboration. Rest assured it will undoubtedly be special!

WE HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT..

Da Noi was conceived, developed and launched starting from absolutely nothing. No previous experience in the sector or in owning businesses. Just passion, strength and complicity between me and Valentina. And surely a bit of madness.

We have created a business model that allowed us to manage our restaurant in complete control. We have achieved our results operating in the tiniest and most challenging kitchen (we invited some guests regularly to see it too), tried moving premises 5 times, went through a pandemic risking everything we had. Through all this we have organised and run events and collaborations, participated in festivals and worked with schools, mentored young chefs and aspiring business owners. We are one of the handful of Italian restaurants in the UK to have always featured in the key sector guides during our time.

We learnt a lot humanly, met hundreds of awesome people along the way and have been blessed to be able to always keep this business financially sound and through it, fund the start of and .pizzeria, which are now solid realities in this beautiful city.

Recently, after six beautiful years, we have realised we completely fulfilled our dreams as a couple in life and in business with Da Noi, and know that now is the right time to move on, at our peak.

This will allow us to continue focussing on the evolution of our brand with and .pizzeria that carry on growing and delivering daily and surely won’t stop to move on if we see more opportunities to bring something super exciting on.

We decided that the final service at Da Noi will be on Monday 23rd December 2024.

Bookings continue being taken for the slots that are left in the diary. We really hope to see a lot of people in enjoying what we do for one or more nights.

For these last three months, we will be re-introducing Sunday lunch to our schedule, following your continued requests. And expect one more event on site and one more collaboration.

As Autumn kicks in, we are in full swing and we can definitely the last few weeks have been incredible.
Thanks for the ongoing support guys, it means the world to have the restaurant full while we are in our best form.

We would like to share a few updates with you.

This week will be the very last week of our current tasting menu/wine flights. Do make an a date in your diary if you have not tried them yet.. at the time of this post we have only got Saturday night full, a few spaces on Friday night, and some more availability for the midweek, both lunch and dinner. Don’t forget we serve our 7-course at lunch too (all possible to book online).

This also means.. brand new menu from next week, with the first service being Wednesday October 2nd in the evening. Rumour has it that a few iconic Da Noi dishes will make a return to the charts.. start getting your tables booked for it too.

Finally, by very strong demand, we are going to re-introduce Sunday lunch to our schedule from next week, with the 7-course served at 12.30pm and 1pm and the 4-course at 12.30-2pm. You are able to book your Sundays already from our website now (link in bio).

These are very exciting times, we really hope to see lots of regular and new faces filling our “Magic Box” up over the next few months.

As we have swiftly moved into September, and we are about to salute Summer, we are going to share some updates with you:

- we will be closed all next week (9-15 September) and will reopen on Wednesday 18th for the dinner service;

- we will switch to the Year End Menu on October 2nd so there will be only three more weeks in September for our guest to taste the current Tasting Menu and wines flights. Please make sure you book your slots promptly for the remainder of September as the diary is already quite busy and start thinking about a visit for the Year End Menu.

- last but not least.. a couple of weeks ago Da Noi celebrated its 6th anniversary from its inception. It’s always great for me and Valentina to think how special it feels to know we have been able to create, develop and continuously improve a unique project in a fascinating sector starting from absolutely nothing, and not only-use its success as the trampoline for the much loved .pizzeria and .

We look forward to seeing old and new faces in the next three months!

A unique dining proposition in the North West of England.

We serve a reduced and a full seasonal tasting menu based on our Italian traditions with a personal twist that comes from our eclectic Chef Valentina Aviotti.

We apply this mix to the ingredients we use to prepare our dishes-traditional Italian through our fantastic importers, local produce for pretty much anything that is seasonal.

Ciao a tutti ❤️

Long time since our last update here but here is some things we would like to share as a result of your precious feedback and internal discussions within the team.

The first is that from this week you’ll be able to enjoy our full 7-course tasting menu at lunch too. So upon booking you’ll be able to choose whether to get the full experience or reduced (4-course) for your table.

The second is a decision based on several sessions with the team and consulting with local experts, but also follows the sensation that we all need to start changing something small in order to change something big.

For the month of June and July, we are going to serve our full seasonal tasting menu at a price that we hope will make you feel comfortable in choosing to come out to try it without hesitation.

There are no caveats or hidden things. We understand what’s going on around us, we all have families and go out ourselves and know how hard it is to decide about your spending, given the cost of everything.

But if we go back to six years ago when we started, we decided to do it to channel the passion we have for this world, and therefore a few accolades don’t necessarily mean we have to show them through the price we charge for what we do.

Da Noi is definitely still a family business, a very small operation run in one of the smallest units in town. We have indeed evolved and improved our proposition, achieved significantly over these years, but we’re still very much the same humble couple with a huge passion and that’s all we always want to show.

Proud of the most important event we have ever done in 6 years of Da Noi, and humbled by being chosen by a true legend of the history of Italian winemaking and having been able to bring them to Chester for one night.

Ciao a tutti!

We are incredibly excited to announce that the date has finally been agreed for the rescheduling of our event with supported by and it will take place on Wednesday May 22nd at 7pm.

The excitement comes as this is a unique opportunity for 18 people to attend a unique 6-course Tuscan-themed dinner created by chef Valentina where each dish will be paired with one of the wines from the legendary Antinori portfolio, with commentary around everything that makes this group an example of absolute excellence in our country as far as quality winemaking, traditions and innovation.

We humbled and very grateful to have been chosen by a real legend and to be able to collaborate with partners of this calibre and offer our guests something really special to experience.

Tickets are already for sale on our website. The experience can also be purchased as a gift voucher for any special treats.
