What an incredible experience heading over to North Yorkshire to work alongside the phenomenal team at Trenchers Restaurant in Whitby, officially crowned the Fish and Chip Restaurant of the Year at the National Fish & Chip Awards!

As the reigning Drywite Young Fish
Frier of the Year, getting the chance to step into another award winning kitchen, swap ideas, and fry alongside some of the best chefs in the business was unforgettable. Seeing the absolute precision, passion, and high standards they bring to the trade every single day was deeply inspiring.

A massive thank you to everyone at Trenchers for welcoming me into your kitchen with open arms. Our industry has a very bright future, and collaborations like this make it even better!

I’ve put off writing this post for a week because, honestly, I think I was still in denial 😢❤️

Last week, we said goodbye to our lovely front of house superstar, Izzy, as she heads off to university to study engineering📚✨

Izzy has been such a valued part of our team over the years. We’ve had the pleasure of watching her learn, grow and become the amazing young woman she is today. She’s been a true superstar and we’re going to miss her more than words can say🥹💕

We’re so proud of you, Izzy, and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll achieve. Wishing you the very best of luck on this exciting new chapter🎓💪
