🍺 Right then… we’ve gone and done it.

We’ve just added Hawkstone Lager to the taps on the terrace at Ristorante Sergio… and yes, it’s Jeremy Clarkson’s beer!

Love him… or argue with him every time he appears on the TV… one thing’s for certain, he knows how to get people talking! 😏

So we thought we’d give you something else to argue about…

Is Hawkstone really that good… or is it just because Clarkson’s name’s on the glass?

There’s only one way to find out.

Introducing our Bruschetta Manarola – one of the newest additions to the menu at Ristorante Sergio, and it’s already become a firm favourite with our guests.

🥖 Homemade toasted bread, gently rubbed with garlic…
🍅 Sweet, fresh tomatoes…

🤍 Creamy burrata (and if you ask us… the best part! 😍)
🐟 Anchovies for that perfect savoury kick…

Well… what a weekend that was! 🇮🇹🍹☀️

To everyone who joined us at Ristorante Sergio over the weekend… THANK YOU! ❤️

Our terrace was absolutely buzzing from lunchtime right through until the evening, the kitchen didn’t stop, and the Spritz cocktails were disappearing faster than we could make them!

In fact… we have a confession… 🙈

We actually ran out of Aperol! 😱🍊 (The shame of it… don’t judge us! 😂)

Not to worry though… our Hugo Spritz stepped in to save the day, with bottles of elderflower liqueur and what felt like an endless stream of Prosecco keeping the good times flowing. 🥂

To every single one of you who came for lunch, dinner, drinks or just to soak up the Italian vibes on our terrace… thank you for making it such an incredible weekend. You certainly kept us on our toes!

As for the team… let’s just say a couple of well-earned beers at the end of the night were absolutely essential… 🍺🍺

(Any excuse… 😉😂)

My office has been upgraded… 🇮🇹☀️💻

Some people spend their day staring at four walls…

Today I spent mine answering emails with Chester Cathedral as my office view. 😍

I’m not saying it’s made me more productive… but it’s definitely made me happier! 🍷😂

If you’re escaping the office (or just escaping the house), our terrace is the perfect place to soak up the sunshine.

Apparently, your humans are always asking if you’re allowed on our terrace at Ristorante Sergio…

The answer is… ABSOLUTELY! 🐾❤️

Bring your well-behaved humans along and we’ll make sure you’re looked after with fresh water and tasty doggy treats while they tuck into pizza, pasta and maybe a cheeky Aperol (or two! 🍹😉).

So don’t leave your best friend at home… bring the whole pack!
