You know those Lobster rolls you get that are 90% mayonnaise with a few shreds of meat inside?…..yeah well we don’t do that at The Sandbar. Proper loaded with chunks of freshly cooked Lobbie, in a butter roasted roll with salad and citrus chive mayo. Beef dripping Chips are obligatory of course. Only £19.90 too.

Catch of the day were gorgeous Live Langoustines and I couldn’t say no. We dispatched them into a boiling cauldron then refreshed in ice to stop the cooling process at the point of perfection. Served with a dollop of silky homemade mayonnaise. A classic and on our specials board today and tomorrow.

PS Live Lobsters coming in tomorrow. Tomorrow’s fish is in the sea today. 😊

Pretty Ugly and F**kin’ Tasty.

Sometimes a plate of new potatoes and shellfish dressing really good olive oil, sweet vinegar, garlic, chives and smoked paprika is all we need. Grab a glass of Albariño w**e and imagine you’re in San Sebastián.

This went on our specials menu today at 12. By 3pm it was sold out so definitely will be back on the menu from Monday onwards.
