✨ NOW THAT’S WHAT WE CALL A SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE… ✨

Tonight we watched Episode 2 of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 8 here at Backstage Chester — and WHAT. AN. EPISODE. 👑💄🍸

But our viewing party was made even more special when the absolutely gorgeous Tequila Thirst sent our Backstage family a little video straight from her dressing room in London, wishing us all a fabulous viewing party! 🥹💚

Honestly… how bloody lovely is that?! 🥂

We absolutely adore supporting Tequila this season, and having her take a moment to send some love all the way to our little theatre bar in Chester made tonight feel extra special.

🎥 Here’s the video below!

10/09/2026

💚🍸 ARE YOU FEELING THIRSTY?! 🍸💚

We’re shaking things up at Backstage Chester with our very own TEQUILA THIRST cocktail — inspired by the gorgeous Tequila Thirst from RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 8! 👑✨

Tangy, fruity and dangerously easy to drink, she’s made with Tequila, Midori, Lime juice and a splash of Ting — bright, bold and absolutely ready for her main-stage moment. 💅🍈

Watch our little cocktail tutorial and see how we bring this queen to life behind the bar!

Fancy trying one yourself? 👀
Pop into Backstage, ask us for a Tequila Thirst, and we’ll shake one up for you! 🍹

AND DON’T FORGET… 📺👑

✨ RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 8 EVERY THURSDAY at Backstage Chester!
🚪 Open 5pm–midnight
📺 New episode showing from 7pm

Grab a cocktail, find your seat and get ready for the runway, the lip syncs and all the weekly chaos. Because at Backstage… everyone deserves their moment in the spotlight. 🎭✨

🎭💋 A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DRAG QUEEN… WHO ALSO OWNS A BAR 🍸✨

Today started with bags packed, makeup cases loaded, approximately 400 things I definitely needed, and a trip into Backstage to get everything ready for another evening of cocktails, chaos and show tunes. 🎶🍹

But there was also a small matter of a VERY secret photoshoot for an upcoming Christmas production… 👀🎄

We’re afraid the details are currently CLASSIFIED. 🤫
All we can say is there may have been a little danger, a little glamour, and something that definitely wasn’t For Your Eyes Only… 😏🔫🍸

After all, some queens have a licence to kill…
Miss Hertz apparently has a licence to over-accessorise. 💅

And now the photoshoot is wrapped, it’s straight back behind the bar!

🎭 BACKSTAGE IS OPEN NOW UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT! 🎭

Jay is behind the bar… although the Miss Hertz face is staying firmly ON, so technically you’re getting bartender, landlord AND drag queen all in one. Bargain. 😂💋

Come down, grab a cocktail, have a sing-song, belt out your favourite musical theatre number and spend your Sunday evening somewhere with considerably more drama than your living room.

🍸 Drinks flowing
🎤 Sing-songs encouraged
🎭 Musical theatre everywhere
💋 “Miss Hertz” behind the bar
🕵️ And absolutely NO questions about the top-secret Christmas mission…

Backstage — open until midnight tonight.
