We would like to give a massive Thank You for all your kind comments about Mum’s passing and everyone who paid their respects on the road side.
It was very humbling, we count ourselves very lucky for being part of a loving and caring community. Which I don’t think many other places can boast.

We will be closed on Thursday lunchtime the 18th December for the funeral of my Mum
Jean.

Mum helped start the The Chip Inn many years ago and loved her years working there and all of the friends and customers in our community

Mum has left a big hole in mine, Izzy’s and the families hearts as well as many others and she will be missed dearly.

Anyone wishing to pay their respects the funeral cortège will be coming past the shops at around 10.10am

We have someone kindly covering us Thursday evening so we will be opening 5-7.
