I put this pipeline parlour in the spring, it's a very simple system originally from the 1970s.

It allows me to milk the cows much quicker than in the bail and puts the milk directly into the bulk tank or cheese vat.

This is the latest modification to it, adding extra gates to stand and milk 6 cows at a time. There are more changes to be made this autumn with a new bulk tank going in and moving the dairy into a bigger space.

Greek yogurt, Labneh and kefir in new bottles now available in the farm shop.

We haven't had Greek yogurt or Labneh available for a bit as I focussed on preserving the spring flush of milk into cheese to enjoy later in the year.

Now the cows milk yield has levelled out there is more time and space to make our full range of yogurts.

As with all our yogurts, they are made on the farm with only our milk and yogurt cultures.
