A LITTLE PINK BOOKSHOP ON WHEELS 🩷📚

One of the things we love about festival concessions is just how much variety they can bring to an event and this one definitely stood out at Boardmasters this summer 👀
wandering.chapter brought their beautifully designed travelling bookshop to the festival, filled with books, cosy blankets + even the popular Blind Date with a Book concept.

Amongst the music, food and everything else happening across a busy festival site, we loved having something a little different for people to stop, browse and discover.

Non-food concessions are such an important part of a festival lineup, giving visitors even more to explore around the site - with traders selling everything from clothing and accessories to artwork, gifts and, in this case, your next read 🙌

Time for another trader spotlight and this week it’s loaded hash browns? We’re listening 👀

joined us across multiple events this summer, serving up golden loaded hash browns with gluten-free + vegan options available too 🌱

We got our hands on their vegan maple syrup + bacon flavour, finished with a dusting of icing sugar and haven’t stopped thinking about it since.

You might also recognise their sister stands .pots + who we’ve worked with across events over the years and are always festival favourites 🙌

We love having traders on our line-ups that make it easier to offer great options for different dietary requirements (especially when they taste this good).

Our first year at Leeds came with one seriously good food lineup 🤤

Alongside our own catering across the festival site, we were joined by an incredible mix of independent food traders.

Burgers, loaded fries, Greek, Mexican, paella, sweet treats + plenty more..there was a LOT to work our way through 👀

A huge thank you to all of the brilliant traders who joined us for our first year at Leeds and kept thousands of festival goers fed throughout the weekend 👏

Serving up the UK’s best waffle on a stick..meet 👋😍🧇

Waffle Wands started back in 2015 with a recipe, a machine + a dream, and have since gone on to trade at some of the UK’s biggest festivals and events, work with huge brands and even open their own shop in St Albans.

And the waffles truly speak for themselves 🤤 Freshly made, easy to eat on the go + loaded with all the good stuff, with toppings and drizzles including Nutella, Biscoff, pistachio + plenty more.

They’ve got the awards to back it up too 🏆 Supplier of the Year 2025 + 3rd place for Europe’s Best Dessert!

CREATING A DESTINATION WITHIN A FESTIVAL 📍

This summer, we had the pleasure of working with for the first time at both Boardmasters and Boomtown 👏

Bringing several brilliant food brands together in one dedicated space, DOME created somewhere festival-goers could head to, explore different food options and spend some time away from the stages.

And it was pretty hard to miss 👀

The unit frontage and branding throughout the whole space looked incredible and really stood out within two very busy festival sites.

The line-up brought together Truffle Burger, Frank Hot Dogs, Meraki Greek, Okko Katsu + Lucky’s Chicken, with plenty of delicious options from each 🍔🌭🥙🍗

Such a great addition to this summer’s food offering and brilliant to work alongside the DOME team 💥

We’re returning to the Ragley Estate this September for , delivering catering + concessions across the show once again 🌲🪵

And it’s a BIG year to be back, as APF celebrates its Golden Anniversary - 50 years since the very first show in 1976 🎉

As the UK’s largest forestry, woodland, arboriculture and timber trade show, APF is expected to welcome more than 320 exhibitors + 23,000 visitors across three days.

We’ll be bringing plenty of variety to the food and drink offering too, with our own catering units alongside a brilliant line-up of independent traders serving up plenty of choice across the show 🍕

TRADER SPOTLIGHT: MEET 🥘🍋💛

An independent, family-run festival caterer serving up award-winning Spanish paella since 2010 (and a familiar face across many of our events over the years!!)

Their entire paella menu is gluten-free, with two festival favourites on the menu:

🥘 Paella de Carne (chicken + chorizo)
🌱 Paella de Verduras (butternut squash, green beans, chickpeas, peas + spinach)

Then make it your own with sweet red pepper, parsley + a squeeze of fresh lemon.

They’ve also been serving homemade fresh lemonade this summer, which has been VERY welcome during the festival heatwaves ☀️

Freshly cooked in those huge paella pans, full of flavour + plenty of choice for gluten-free and vegan festival-goers..there’s a reason Paellaria continues to be a festival favourite.

BACK TO DUXFORD 🛩️

We’re returning to Imperial War Museums Duxford this September for the Duxford Battle of Britain Air Show, delivering catering + concessions across the event.

Taking place across 12-13 September, this year’s show marks 90 years since the first Spitfire took to the skies, right where the iconic aircraft first flew.

With incredible aerial displays, historic aircrafts and one of the largest gatherings of Spitfires in the UK this year, it’s set to be another brilliant weekend 🙌

We’ll be bringing together a huge line-up of independent traders alongside our own catering units, keeping visitors fuelled throughout the weekend 🍔🍕
