Tomorrow, Friday 19 June, we look forward to welcoming Jack, Eleanor and Kate to the Fratry Hall for the next instalment of their Cumbrian Musical Almanac series: The Almanac: Summer Notes in Cumbria.

Tickets will be available on the door, and the Carlisle Cathedral Cafe will be open to all for drinks and snacks, whether you are attending the concert or not.

Doors open 7pm for the concert starting at 7.30pm.

Did you know we have dog-friendly seating outside in the cloister, and additional seats either upstairs or downstairs in the Fratry? Wolensky the Wire-Haired Fox Terrier's favourite spot is on the landing! 🐶

Our ground floor cafe seating is a dog-free zone, so if you're making a special journey with your furry friend give us a call to check the extra spaces are open... they are most days unless we have an event taking place.

Last week we soldiered on through power cuts - thanks to our amazing bar staff for keeping tabs in the orders - and questions on "dography", New Zealand, Miles Davis, Cher and more.
